To those Christians who think it's all fun and games and all you need is faith, you'll be the first to be swallowed whole and devoured by deceit in the next yr or so. How bad do things need to get before you put down your stupid romance books and your fan fiction and your dumb video games and computer games and pick up the Bible? How fluffy and happy do you need to feel in order to do what is right? How much WORSE do things need to get before you repent?!
Expect things to get very serious, very sober, and far more blunt on my page in the future. I expect many of you to drop out of my life like dead flies. Why? Because I am taking each day, every moment, every single breath I am given by God to live in the truth, walk in the light, and defend the gospel no matter how few well-meaning (but weak) Christians join.
Obama, you can't have what God owns. You don't have rights to His property. He is the LORD and there is only ONE God. You aren't Him. You can't override His contracts. You can't steal His people. You can't derail the elect of God. You can't rob their lives. They belong to Him. No amount of change will EVER make you as powerful as He is or as glorified. You will fall and God's wrath upon you as well as all of those who support and encourage you will be great. Not just great, but eternal, lest you repent of your sins and put your faith in Christ Jesus alone, in whom we may find salvation if it is granted unto us.
May you hold your tongue when you ought to, may you speak wisdom, and may this year in ALL of your lives, fellow believers, shine brightly with good works that glorify our Heavenly Father, and not our flesh. Our testimonies, our witnesses, and our trials, especially our attitudes during these times, are being watched by billions. How we respond to evil still matters. How we vote matters such a marginal amount compared to the weight that our walk of faith carries. Your cross might be heavier very soon. Praise God if it is. May we not grow weary and forget that this is a joy -- this time that we have been called to live in. We are dealing with things that our forefathers did not deal with. Whether or not we believe they'd have done a better job, they are dead, and we are not.
Reality: Make the best of what you have been given. You have no liberty as a Christian to sin no matter how legal it may be in this country. Your Commander in Chief is God Himself. That should terrify you far more than Obama's reign. God could take him out tonight if He wanted to. Don't lose sight of your calling, Christians. Don't. And don't be slack concerning what you know is true. Don't let your convictions slide on account of what this world looks like. You'll see sinners smile and the righteous weep. Your families will be put to the test, the government will dominate your "freedom," and you'll see just how "good" people are at heart. You'll be slapped with reality and if you delude yourselves into thinking that praying for peace and happiness is the answer, you'll never have your prayers answered bc I have news for you ---- this world is passing, the Bride of Christ is healthy and strong and perfect for Her Groom, Christ Himself, and She will be presented to Him the way She was meant to. Endure to the end and you'll be saved, lest your glorification of God is nothing more than a seed choked out by weeds, as the parable says.
I'll defend my people. I'll defend my brethren. The only message I have for the rest of the world is the gospel. No evil will enter this house. I'll be prepared. I will gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. My lamp stand will have oil. I will remain alert. I know my authority in Christ, and I know I am His. My faith, and yours, will grow stronger through this country's fall... and it WILL fall. But Heaven is forever, His throne is from everlasting to everlasting, and His faithful love endures.
