2012 Election Day

Today I am thankful that I have the choice NOT to vote, and that I am free to exercise that choice. I find it ironic that all of those in favor of choice will bark at me for making my own. I'm a Christian. My allegiance first and foremost is to God. If there was an individual who feared God, I'd perhaps vote for them, but there was no fear of God in any of the candidates' eyes, and yes, that matters A LOT to me. No, I will not separate the two. I cannot in good conscience. This is the first election I won't be voting in.

That said, since many of you will tell me that if I don't vote I can't complain, none of us as believers ought to complain anyway, but I tell you the truth, if you complain about my not voting, you're already breaking the command. There might be a plank in your eye. I have more important things to do here.... like preach the gospel and live according to it. I will not deify the supposed choice that millions of sheeple think they actually have. Democracy in this country is skewed and you can be certain there will be some voter fraud committed anyway.

"14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain." Philippians 2:14-16 ESV
